THE SAVANNAH COLLEGE OF ART AND DESIGN
SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR - EXECUTIVE MEDIA
I also served as a social media coordinator for the president of the Savannah College of Art and Design. In this role, I served as a community manager, content creator, copywriter, photographer, podcast marketer, production assistant, and even mascot – you name it, I’ve probably done it.
Content creation and analysis were a large part of this role. I analyzed current social media trends and found ways to best incorporate those trends into our social strategy. Every month I curated a content calendar and executed the creation of the content that was approved, such as Instagram Reels, Instagram Guides, LinkedIn Articles, etc. I then evaluated the performance metrics of our social posts across platforms and compile relevant data, such as account growth, engagement rate, and account health, into monthly reports.

SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR
As the head of social media at CCU, I owned the day to day content creation and community management of the flagship accounts of the university, totaling over 100K followers over Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram. I produced and revamped the student interview series CCU Family, created a content strategy that led to us growing 7K followers in less than a year on Instagram, and covered all sporting events for the school.
During my time at CCU, I also collaborated with departments on campus to execute paid social ads across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Pinterest. I worked with our school of business on a campaign to drive more people to apply to their graduate programs. The campaign garnered over 1.3 million impressions and over 300 results, which for this campaign was getting lead forms filled out by prospective students.
